Does anyone know if the club have been doing anything to try and get more people to come to the Bath game and other games further in the future, or are they going to leave it and pray one day the attendances will increase

I can only see one way for attendances this season - and it's not up. Lethargy & apathy reign supreme.

I have seen no promoting of the coming season ANYWHERE!
The Gazette are doing fantastic coverage, but other than that......

Don't knock it. We should be doing more of that around the town. Years ago we did it - why not now? We could also get hoardings outside shops for that sort of thing.

Attendances will suffer this season, all over the shop, bar the top premier league clubs and promoted clubs. Hayes will be no different. The price rise is a big mistake. They should be looking to attract disaffected ex-big club regulars. I know plenty who refuse to support their club anymore and pay anything from £30 to £80 per game. Fans are more aware of discounts now. Clubs like Fulham do well with their reduced admission prices. England are doing 4 tickets for £60 for the Hungary game in a few weeks. A good number of people who turn up at Church Road have no strong allegiance to the club. If they feel its no longer value for money, they’ll take it elsewhere.

I think that instead of the club targeting adults to come to games I think they should focus on getting more kids to come, who will then drag along there parents. The best way i believe to do this would be to give all the kids in both the Hayes and Yeading youth teams a junior reds form and fixture list. They could also get someone to go into Hayes town and hand out these as well to any passing kids. You never know it could work.

There should be more of these signs in and around Hayes, stick them in post office windows and in hairdressers windows etc. Places where people will go. I'm sure some of the pubs will allow it to happen etc.

Totally agree with your comments about letting kids in free'
We should take a leaf out of Maidenheads' book. Last night at the match they handed out a free page with the team lineouts and on the back was a form for under 15s' to join The Junior Magpies for free. This will allow free entry to all league games, they will be issued with a membership card and will also get regular news updates by e-mail of club news.
This is what we should be doing now.
The kids are the fans of the future.Kids normally can't go to a game without a burger , and there's even a chance they might buy a programme or come with a parent.
I know we do a Junior Red Scheme, but something for free is much more attactive.
As said, we should be handing these forms out with a list of fixtures to local kids now.

Have heard that this bookie promotes our club ..............which Ladbrokes in the town is it?

if you are going to bet , I say visit this bookie, as if he is supporting our club , then we should support him.

A poster @ hayes station would be a good idea, lots of people coming and going there.

Putting one at the station is a decent idea, what about in the community noticeboards around in the parks? And isn't there a board outside the Police Station
