Congratulations to Paul Ashcroft for winning the 50/50 draw at the Wycombe game today. Paul who has supported and helped at the club for many a year, won our first share out of the season (which was £55)

Well, it doesn't come to me! Last time I won it (£54) was around 1990 when we were last in the Conference.... :beg:

I have never won the 50/50  .

Incidentally, how do we know that the winner is the one that the ref pulls off at half-time?

For all we know the ticket that the ref selects could be discarded with the winning number already pre-determined.

I suppose I should treat the above slur on my honesty and integrity with contempt. However I cant be bothered, and have bigger issues in my life to worry about than what a complete stranger thinks about how I conduct my life. I just find it sad; that someone who knows nothing about life outside this club would make such an insinuation.
If you are going to the game today though and would like to make your presence known to me, I would be more than happy to explain how I safeguard the tickets and do my up most to run an honest draw. If anyone else has any suspicions, then all you have to do is stand by the tunnel at half time. You will be able to see the ref draw the ticket from the bucket, which I will can then be able to show you.

Oh dear, why do people critisize hardworking, honest people who give up their time for free, I for one would like to thank you for taking £1 or £2 of me each home game, and I trust you, if you were dis-honest, I recon you would get a suit that fitted you!!!!!!!

Please double check your tickets, as the share out of £79 for the QPR match today was unclaimed . Ticket 10363, will be held by the club for the winner to claim their prize until the next home game on 14th August.

I suggest that Mr Reasonable should think before he posts crap on this forum. I came home from work to a wife who was crying about the comments he wrote about the 50/50 draw. I had to explain that people like this put comments on here just to get the reaction that he has got. I hope that I have convinced her to carry on with the sterling work she has done on behalf of the club over the last 20 years.
If you think the 50/50 draw is rigged its easy, dont buy a ticket, but dont come on here bringing peoples integrity into question.

Knowing Mr Reasonable (and I don't know him personally just through the odd chat here and their) I think he probably made the comment in jest and now from the reaction probably wishes he hadn't?

BTW, Happy Birthday old bean.

(Have a feeling July 25th was the late great Mr. Colvin's birthday too).

Cheers mate, John is still forever in our thoughts and missed whenever we walk into the ground and he isn't there selling the raffle tickets

Swampy is correct on both counts.

I honestly did not intend my post to cause any offence nor distress and I am sorry that it did.

I was made aware of how upset Mrs Moneypenny was on Saturday and whilst at the time I was slightly taken aback I have since realised how upsetting my message has been.

I'm sorry.

In addition to Mr Reasonables Public apology, we have also recieved a private apology. Lets put this whole situation behind us. I know that for a lot of the time this website is for a bit of fun. I do try to keep all of you genuine supporters up to date with as much information that I am allowed to give, but all of us must be carefull of over stepping the mark, and upsetting people. In the end we are all here for the Club.
